Five people died as a result of the capitol protest
Ashli Babbitt – Unarmed woman shot by armed security in Capitol building.
Ashli Babbitt was an unarmed pro-Trump US Air Force Veteran shot in the neck by armed security within the Capitol building white attempting to gain entry into the speakers lobby.
The BBC reports “[Ashli Babbitt was] A veteran of the US Air Force, Ms Babbitt served two tours in Afghanistan and Iraq before later deployments with the National Guard to Kuwait and Qatar, her ex-husband Timothy McEntee told US media.”
Within the same article it states that Ashli was a self declared libertarian and patriot who regularly shared pro Trump content on her social media pages. These posts included support for Trump’s stance on the alleged 2020 electoral fraud.

Brian Sicknick – Currently unconfirmed cause of death. Believed to be from ‘capsicum-based “bear spray”
Brian was a Police Officer previously thought to have died by being hit in the head with a fire extinguisher in a fight with protesters. However, medical experts since have said that he was not hit in the head at all.
Later, unconfirmed news reports said the FBI believes that capsicum-based “bear spray” used at the Capitol protest against him at approximately 2:20pm was the cause of death. However, the FBI director refused to disclose any information surrounding the death. In March 2021 “Federal officials arrested and charged two men .. with assaulting Sicknick with bear spray during the riot.” according to Fox News.
It is important to note that Brian did not die on the scene of the incident. Rather, he “returned to his division office and collapsed” according to the Capitol Police. His collapse happened around 10pm
In a confirmation of the cause of death by Washington’s chief medical examiner, on the 19th of April 2021 Fox News reported “The chief medical examiner, Francisco Diaz, said .. that an autopsy of Sicknick found no evidence the 42-year-old suffered an allergic reaction to chemical irritants. Diaz ruled that Sicknick, 42, died from “acute brainstem and cerebellar infarcts due to acute basilar artery thrombosis.”
In other words, “U.S. Capitol Police officer Brian Sicknick suffered two strokes and died of natural causes the day after he confronted rioters during the Jan. 6″ The chief medical examiner also commented that the protest “played a role in his condition”
Ben Phillips – Died From Stroke
Ben Phillips was a computer programmer from Pennsylvania. He organised and drove a caravan of people to the Capitol protest from his home town to witness Trumps speech on January 6th 2021 and “protest what he believed was a stolen election”.
In relation to Ben Phillips death, The Philadelphia Inquirer reports “Gordy Smith, a member of the group from [the caravan] Honesdale, said he and others had been calling Philips when it was time to leave and he hadn’t arrived. Washington police returned one of those calls and told them Philips suffered a stroke and died at George Washington University Hospital.”
Kevin Greeson – Died From Heart Attack
“Kevin Greeson was a man who loved motorcycles, his job and coworkers, and his dogs“. He was also a strong Trump supporter and very excited to attend the rally on January 6th, 2021.
According to his family, he didn’t engage in the storming of the Capitol building. However, due to the excitement of the unfolding events, and his high blood pressure Kevin passed away from a heart attack.
Rosanne Boyland – Trampled To Death
Rosanne was a woman from Georgia who unfortunately died from being trampled on while participating in the storming of the Capitol.
After getting clean from drugs Rosanne turned toward conservatism and became a QAnon follower. She was a staunch Trump supporter, and the January 6th rally was the first Trump event she had ever been to.
